Dear Friends and Supporters,

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, it is a privilege to write to you on behalf of Ching and the Ching Tien Foundation. Ching is currently hard at work on the road promoting our work. I am based in Toronto and my current role is Executive Director at the Ching Tien Foundation. I have been closely working with Ching since 2018. I previously served as EGRC’s Executive Director focused on Eastern Canada.

First observed in the early 1900s, the celebration of International Women’s Day has become increasingly widespread with the rise of women’s movements around the world. While tremendous advancements have been achieved, there is still so much work to be done when it comes to enabling women to fulfill their potential, especially in societies where gender inequality remains entrenched in local culture.

Our Foundation’s mission is to empower young women from Asia to become changemakers for the future. Our objective is to provide aspiring leaders with the tools they need to become a force for positive change in the world.

As Ching said at our Toronto launch event held on March 5th, “Investing in women is investing in our collective future.” On this important day, we challenge you to take action and help us lift the new Ching Tien Foundation off the ground by contributing to our efforts as a volunteer, or by making a donation to support the Foundation’s work. Our combined efforts can make a tremendous impact!
