Message from the Founder –
Dear Friends,
As summer passes, we have more encouraging news
to share.
For the second year in a row, a group of EGRC alumni celebrated my birthday by launching a fundraising campaign to support the mission of the Ching Tien Foundation for Women. Between June 15 and June 30, 158 alumni raised a total of CAD$9,570.
I am deeply moved by their expression of love, trust, and this enduring relationship we have built over more than 20 years. Seeing these young women we once supported become donors is the most meaningful reward of this journey. It has been concrete proof that – the work we have done together is far beyond education – it has created a group of powerful women who commit to paying it forward.
Investing in women is investing in our collective future.

EGRC operated in rural western China from 2005 to 2023. During these 18 years, together we helped more than 2,000 young women complete their high school and university education, achieving a graduation rate of over 99%.
Many EGRC alumni donors wrote greetings when they made their donations. I would like to share some along with a video capturing the work we accomplished together in rural China. I am profoundly grateful to everyone of you who has stood with me over the years, Today, EGRC alumni’s action is a powerful testament to the lasting impact of our shared mission.
